Greetings to you in the powerful name of Jesus the Christ!
What QUESTIONS do you have about Salvation, Prayer, The End Times, Angels, Sin, God, etc? During Lent (which starts in March) I will preach on the questions you ask. You may have noticed that there is a question box outside of where we worship. Write down your questions and place them in the box.
Some of the questions I have heard people wonder about in the past were:
*How does God Work?
*Why do we do things we know we shouldn’t do?
*How are we saved?
*If we’re saved, why do we still sin?
*Should Christians be involved in the world?
*Can we make a difference in the world?
*If I die tonight, can I be sure of where I will spend eternity?
*How many times do I really have to forgive?
*What am I doing here on earth?
*Why did Jesus die?
*How do we hear God speak?
*Why is there so much suffering in the world if God loves us?
*How does God Guide us?
*What does it mean to be born again?
*Does God heal today?
*How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
*What does God say about……
Do share your questions about faith and life as we explore together what it means to be God’s people. This will be a six week sermon series that will start the first Sunday in March. Questions can be placed in the question box at church or you can e-mail them to me at james.gerth@yahoo.com
Remember one of the question Jesus asked was: Who do you say that I am? What would you say?.
